Whe-hew.

I have my elliptical trainer close to my TV and everyone mentions that I can use it while watching the TV. Many have especially pointed that out when I mention the lack of time in which to exercise. I swear I haven’t even had the time to watch TV! My DVR hath runneth over.

My work schedule is literally (I’m not using that term for drama) around the clock. Just last night I worked until four in the morning. I’m exhausted and my back is killing me. Crazily it’s not the lower back pain that had rendered me motionless for nearly two months it’s a new one. Now I have a lot of pain close to the center of my upper back on my right shoulder blade. I’m sure this is from too much time spent on the computer. I call it mouse shoulder. I don’t have the option to not do this job.

Anywhoo, I’m trying to persevere and eat well while occasionally going on the elliptical usually for 10 minute stints. So far so good. I’m not going to record this loss in stone but rather have set the modest goal to not let the scale go higher than the most recent number. So I don’t care if I stay here or however long it takes to lose a pound I just don’t want to gain anymore.

I’m not trying to push too hard because I’m under a lot of stress but any little bit of effort seems to be making a difference at the moment.
