Oh no! I'm so sorry for you. I have a kitty and I like to think he's going to live forever because the thought of him dying is just too much to bare.

Sorry you lost your pet. I know it's like losing a child.(I lost my dog a few years ago, and still miss him) I hope he went peacefully. He will always be a part of you, and I bet you have a lot of nice memories:)

my heart goes out to you, there's nothing worse than losing a family pet, esp. if you've grown up with it or had it a long time... it sucks now but it will get better... perhaps a new kitten would help, when you're ready... :o)

oh, hopeful, I'm so sorry for your loss! I know it can be so devastating. When you get unpacked, be sure to pull out pictures of Anime and keep them close by for awhile. It's so incredibly hard to lose a pet, and it's ok to grieve intensely- I hope those around you can help you heal. Losing Anime in the middle of all these changes in your life just seems extra unfair. I'll be sending good thoughts your way. Again, I'm sorry (((((hug)))))

I'm so, so sorry to hear that....my boyfriend had to put his cat to sleep today. He was so emotional last night when I spoke to him...they are members of the family and it is so hard to say good-bye to them. My heart goes out to you....
