I had no fear

I had my interview today. I was a little nervous while I was getting ready but other than that, I had no fear. I went in to the interview totally confident and did great. They told me I got the job before it was even over (and I was fully clothed).

I’m so happy it went awesome. It’s gratifying to be well received. I’m a little nervous about starting a new gig and the effects it will have on the home improvement front. I have a week and a half to get the bulk of my kitchen finished before I start putting in some serious hours in the new job. I don’t want anything to delay moving back to the east coast. I’m so eager to get back there.

Taking this job will relieve any financial anxiety I have and nurturing this new work relationship for the next couple of months could lead to a remote opportunity from NJ. It can’t get better than that.

Here’s another cool thing that, I guess until now, was pretty atypical for me. I felt a lot of pressure today. By the time I got home I had a headache and I felt tense and stressed. So I worked out. Working out was the first thing that occurred to me would make me feel better. Not turning to food. When I was too nervous to make the phone call the other day, I jumped on the elliptical trainer. Only a new me would do this and this is a total surprise to me.

I hope a new me can re-do my kitchen in record time.
