Chart 8/22/05

I weighed in on Monday at 174, down two.

Renee had a great post yesterday about how "Diet Slip-ups Don't Spell Doom". For anyone who is discouraged, try not to be and read her post. Slip-ups don't spell doom, but a discouraged attitude and how you let it affect you might.

It sure is nice to see my little red line go down instead of up this week. I'm so glad that I'm at least maintaining this time...I'm trying to eat better and still exercise, just not as strict as I was before. I am going to Cabo San Lucas in November, and I expect that a month or so before that trip I'm going to have to step it up a notch (or 10) to make my goal of 175, but no hurries. I don't want to "slip up" again and have all the 26 pounds of weight loss be for nothing.

Congrats on the loss. You are amazing. You deserve all the compliments that you get!

And thanks all for your support. It helps me immensely! I can't even tell you. This site totally helps me positively direct a lot of my energy that I'd probably be using towards self destructive activities. And it wouldn't be anything without you guys.

Hiya all-
Still checking in. I'm so glad we are all hanging in there! I only lost a pound last month - I'm just grateful I'm still heading in the right direction. Guess I have to give up my peanut butter and raisin sandwiches for breakfast - that was the only change I'd made and so I figure it's responsible for my slow weight loss. No matter. I'm back with my raisin bran (Kellogg's is the BEST!). One correction to my part of the chart - I started at 233 pounds ( I can never believe I'm posting my actual weight - I still have 150 lbs on my driver's license!). I'm down to 207 and looking forward to my September weigh-in in a couple of weeks.

To conserve space I didn't make the chart go back as far as it was. so the beginning of our journey actually got cut off. I'm going to put it back on, though, so people can see how far we've really come!

Long time, no visit... It's good to see how well you're doing! I think one of the reasons I haven't visited/posted is because I only lost one pound in August and GAINED TWO IN SEPTEMBER! I was sooooo bummed. But I've hung in there and my October weigh in was a 7 lb loss. Yeahh!! My total weight loss is now 31 lbs.. I'm lovin' it. I'm wearing clothes I couldn't squeeze into before and get compliments from people I have'nt seen in awhile. My weight now is 202. Gosh, it'll be great to drop below 200. It's been far too long.
