« Dilemma • Main • Progress Charts » May 11, 2005An Apple a DayRemember how I said that I lied to the health insurance agent to get a quote for my coverage? Well I lied on the real application too. Now I’ve done it. I want to go to the doctor to get some moles checked out. "Moles" is such a gross word. Mine aren’t that bad, one is a little off color bluish black and another seems like it got a little larger. I have to pick a new primary care doctor and go for that initial visit where they’ll establish my "file" and most certainly determine that I lied! I keep thinking that somehow the insurance company is going to find out my true weight and take back my coverage (yelling "naaa na na poo poo"). I feel like Elaine on Seinfeld when she was paranoid about the contents of her doctor’s "chart". Our charts precede us! I’ll feel comfortable going to the doctor when I weigh 190. In the meantime I’ll put faith in the old adage to ward off anything bad that might happen between now and then. Posted by hopeful @ May 11, 2005 9:52 PM |
