202 Pounds!

I had a long night last night. I had to help my husband with his work to meet his deadline of today! It drives me crazy how he leaves everything until last minute. It totally throws me off!

The good news is that I had a kick ass day yesterday. I exercised with weights finally. I did The Firm Basics: Fat Burning Workout video along with 25 minutes on my elliptical trainer. The video is awesome, it uses both weights and cardio which all the Firm tapes do. They are seriously the best series (and I’ve tried a ton!). This particular tape is slightly for the beginner which is perfect if you’re getting off the couch for the first time. Of course you can always step it up with heavier weights. I have the more difficult ones, which I used to do, that whip you into shape so fast. I'll move onto those in a week or so.

I was hesitant to weigh myself today because I had just weighed on Saturday, the day after the Mexican fiesta. I decided I would get back on a Monday schedule. I nearly fell off the scale when I saw 202!

I don’t know what stars aligned to make that happen and I’m not getting back on the scale to make sure it’s not broken. This will be my motivation to kick further ass until next Monday!

Total weight loss to date: 7lbs (and counting!)
